The x-ray tube and image intensifier are mounted opposite to each others at the end of c-arm.

The tube head is at the lower end of the arm and image intensifier is attached at the upper end of arm with
input phorsphor facing towards patient. The back of the image intensifier is connected to T.V. camera tube, so that image can be viewed on the monitor.
